Special Preview: Pump
Right now we have the ability to change our country’s future, but we never knew it. Narrated by Jason Bateman, this inspiring, eye-opening documentary tells the story of America’s addiction to oil, from its corporate conspiracy beginnings to its current monopoly, and explains how we can end it – and finally win at the pump. Our exclusive use oil has drained our wallets, increased air pollution, and sent our sons and daughters to war in faraway lands. Pump shows how the use of a variety of replacement fuels would allow us to fill up our cars – cheaper, cleaner, and American made - and in the process, create more jobs for a stronger, healthier economy. Dir. Joshua Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell (USA, 2014, 88 min) Followed by a conversation with the director. Co-presented with JCC Social Action Programs (more)REGISTER
