Artful Aging: Re-Enchantment Through Art/Play (for 60+)
Creativity, community, and novelty have all been associated with aging well. In this class, we will cultivate these qualities through art-making, a life-and soul-enhancing endeavor. Each class will include play and experimentation, demos and instruction, and discussion. We will have the opportunity to explore and experiment with a variety of techniques (e.g., painting, monoprinting, collaging) and materials. If you are seeking new experiences that can support you in aging artfully and want a comfortable, safe space to develop your creative self, this workshop is for you. No previous art experience is necessary. Some supplies included; a materials fee payable to the instructor will be determined and emailed out prior to the first class. (more)REGISTER
