Visit the Players Club in Gramercy Park
The private Players Club was established in 1889 by Edwin Booth (brother of John Wilkes Booth), Mark Twain, and Stanford White. The historic building is a private watering hole for art aficionados. The tour includes Edwin Booth’s apartment, the extensive library, and an impressive collection of art, costumes, death masks, and other theatrical artifacts.
